This is a picture of two of my four (personal) dogs, and myself.

My Giant Schnauzer, “Sydney” will be 11 years old in January, 2010! “Napoleon,” my Shih-Tzu/Pomeranian rescue just turned 1 in October. My other boys, “Emeril,” a 9 year old Giant Schnauzer, and “Rocket, a 4 year old Giant Schnauzer, are not pictured here (no room!)-but are JUST as near-and dear to my heart!

I am very busy running an extended-care and training program, a daily daycare (we call it day camp because we offer so much more), a grooming shop, and personal as well as group behavioral and obedience training programs! But, I believe in PAWS New England’s “mission, and am willing to help wherever/whenever I possibly can!

I hope to be of help in rehabilitating, training, and housing foster dogs. I hope to offer” inside placements” of fosters when appropriate with clients that I know well and have worked with extensively. I am proud to be part of such a dedicated, honest organization.

This little “bio” would not be complete without mentioning Petey and how I became involved with PAWS.

Petey is the reason I started to help. He is so very special, and has reminded me about the beauty of rescue. He was severely abused and nearly died until a Good Samaritan picked him up and called PAWS. He never so much as growled, lifted a lip, or even barked in response to the people who have helped him through his painful journey—and I mean PAIN. He had so much physical pain, it is amazing that he recovered, let alone accepted help from the same species that literally hurt him on-purpose. He is one of the many…

You can truly acquire the best pet you could ever imagine—one(s) that will dedicate their life to you. They all teach true forgiveness. This is just one of the many things rescue animals can offer us—they show us that, even with the worst treatment—the most painful mental and physical abuse, they are still grateful.

Their hearts are still beautiful and pure. They will try their very best to trust again. If you believe in God and angels, believe that these animals are proof that we are experiencing miracles and receiving messages every day.
