I started fostering for PAWS in July 2008 after retiring from my own rescue group for the past 18 years! Since then, I have taken in 30 to 40 dogs who were saved from death at this high kill shelter where they unfortunately or fortunately ended up. It has been a heart-warming experience to know that these dogs are now either in a terrific foster home or a wonderful home of their own.
