Liz Brownell

Back in February of 2007, we adopted our dog Molly directly from the Tipton Pound.

During the adoption process we had an amazing experience with Traci, Kelly and Joanne. I promised them that as soon as we moved into our new home and fenced off our yard, we would start fostering….and we did! We have been fostering for PAWS New England since April of 2007, and have fostered approximately 85 dogs in our home since then.

We have 3 of our own dogs (2 of which are Tipton Treasures!), and at any given time there are typically 2 or 3 fosters here, waiting to find their forever homes. We have learned an enormous amount about dog behavior, training, psychology, and pack mentality while rescuing dogs.

We do our best to ensure that when dogs leave our home they are well socialized, well mannered, and ready to join their new families! As hectic as things can get at our house, we cherish the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people.

I am proud to call my fellow PAWS New England volunteers my friends.
