Jessica Delaney

In May of 2006 I adopted my little Zoe once known by all as Donna. She is my little red Min Pin with horrible cropped ears and nipples that hang to her toes, but to me she is beautiful. She may be skitchy and she may never be normal, but to me she’s everything I would want in a dog.

Since my childhood I have always loved animals especially dogs. Painting nails and noses (yes I was caught doing that as a child), would we consider that animal abuse? Hmmm maybe, but I was just a child that loved her dog and just wanted to make her as pretty as could be!

I have since become a volunteer at PAWS and have been doing so since the summer of 2006. PAWS has opened my eyes in more ways than one. It has given me that amazing feeling of doing something so wonderful for creatures that I adore. I feel lucky to be involved with this amazing organization with such wonderful and caring individuals. Since being involved with this organization I now know truly how cruel people in the world can be, but I have also discovered how many people like us make a world of difference for these dogs. If it wasn’t for PAWS so many dogs would never have that second chance. I LOVE PAWS!
